Florida Chamber Foundation will bring together industry experts, elected officials, and state business and community leaders for the Learners to Earners Workforce Summit, this June 12 – 13, 2018. Listen to and network with those leading the community and building our future workforce.
Learners to Earners Workforce Summit topics will include preparing for disruptions; partnerships between businesses and higher education; preparing K-12 students to succeed; and the business case for early learning investment. The summit takes place Tuesday and Wednesday at Renaissance Tampa International Plaza in Tampa.
BRIDG CEO Chester Kennedy will have a panel discussion on preparing talent for the labor pool, at the 2018 Learners to Earners Workforce Summit, this Tuesday, June 12. Scheduled speakers include Orlando’s Michael Preston, Executive Director of the Florida Consortium of Metropolitan Research Universities. Preston is set for a panel discussing college and career readiness, along with officials from University of South Florida and Florida College Access Network.
Other scheduled speakers include Marshall Criser, state university chancellor; Adam Putnam, commissioner of agriculture; and Pam Stewart, commissioner of education.
