Orlando, Fla. – Catherine Norris has joined Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin as an associate in the firm’s Orlando office. A member of the Casualty Department, she focuses her practice on automobile negligence, handling matters involving personal injury on behalf of commercial and individual clients. Her practice also includes premises liability matters where she represents businesses in the hospitality industry such as national and local retailers.
Prior to joining Marshall Dennehey, Ms. Norris was an associate at a Florida-based insurance defense law firm, representing clients in both premises liability and automobile negligence matters. While earning her law degree, she worked for U.S. Congressman Bill Posey on Capitol Hill and the Brevard County Attorney’s Office. She also worked for Marshall Dennehey as a summer law clerk.
A Double Gator, Ms. Norris earned a Bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from the University of Florida and a juris doctor, cum laude, from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law. During law school, she served as the Managing Editor for theFlorida Journal of International Law and was a teaching assistant for Legal Writing and Appellate Advocacy.
Ms. Norris is involved in several industry organizations including the Hillsborough County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division, The Florida Bar Association, and The American Bar Association. She is admitted to practice law in Florida.
