RUSH Construction, Project Manager
Anthony “Bobby” Jicha began his professional career at RUSH Construction, Inc. (RUSH) in May 2009. He has been a part of the RUSH team since November 2006, working as a project intern while finishing classes for his degree. Recently, he has become a licensed Professional Engineer in Civil Engineering through the State of Florida. This significant accomplishment is one of RUSH’s milestones as well, due to the fact that Jicha is the first licensed Professional Engineer to be a part of the RUSH team.
In his role as a project manager, he has led designers from conceptual sketches to complete construction documents, developed construction cost estimates and budgets, managed the construction team to achieve project schedule milestones and budget objectives, and served as the primary technical point of contact for the entire project team.
Jicha’s passion for the industry’s commitment to the green building movement drove him to become RUSH’s 5th LEED Accredited Professional. He holds additional industry recognized certifications for Construction Quality Management through the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and multiple safety and environmental certificates. Over the past five years, he has had the privilege of serving several distinguished commercial and industrial clients in northern Brevard County and multiple government agencies.
A long-standing resident of Brevard County, Jicha is a strong supporter of his local community and proud to be a Titusville resident. He is actively involved in the local chapter of the Association of Builders and Contractors and the U.S. Green Building Council.
Additionally, he enjoys serving in multiple capacities at his church with various events and service projects. Presently, he is working to obtain an MBA at the University of Central Florida, and complete the final steps for licensure through the State of Florida to become a Certified General Contractor.
