When Stan Jones started at FINFROCK, then a small to mid-size precast concrete manufacturer in the mid-1990s, he had no idea what the business would look like 21 years later. FINFROCK now employs nearly 400 people and is a fully integrated Design-Builder. The many facets of the company include 50+ architectural, engineering, and contracting professionals on staff, a software development company, a real-estate development business, owner of a hotel in Naples, Florida and inventor of a new patented product called the DualDeck designed for long clear spans for commercial buildings.
Jones graduated from the University of Florida in 1995 with a degree in Civil Engineering; he then joined FINFROCK as a structural engineer. A later degree from The Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College was very beneficial to his career. He gravitated toward the management side of the business at FINFROCK, and by the early 2000’s was the Executive Vice President in charge of Construction. As a Design-Builder, FINFROCK controls the entire process of providing a client with a finished building. “We pride ourselves in delivering a completed building rather than a series of services. This objective pursuit incentivizes us to perform without excuses and that motivates us to provide our clients with the highest quality building in a very short time frame.”
Stan also serves as FINFROCK’s COO, directly overseeing the general contracting and field activities of the business, as well as coordinating the design and manufacturing activities to ensure the on-time delivery of projects.
Stan and his wife of 14 years, Jen, have two children Minor and Jackson and live in College Park. ◆
