DESCRIPTION:

Widerman Malek, PL is a Melbourne, Fla.-based law firm with satellite offices located in Washington, D.C. and Evansville, Ind. From its start in 2004, Widerman Malek has been a family-based and community-immersed firm, focusing its practice in the fields of corporate law, commercial litigation, real estate, land use, estate planning, government contracts, construction law, and intellectual property. The intellectual property practice includes patent and trademark prosecution, procurement and enforcement, while also focusing on monetization of various intellectual property rights through licensing and litigation.

The firm’s growth over the past 12 years has allowed it to reach further into the community by starting the No Bad Days Foundation to help children with disabilities through the purchase of life-improving medical devices. The foundation started two years ago with the aim of raising funds to purchase much-needed equipment for a young boy in the community. Managing Partner Mark Malek described the firm as a “group of friends that are lucky enough to practice together.  We are a family-based law firm and we have simple goals – provide the highest level of legal service to our clients while simultaneously supporting our community.”
