(ORLANDO, FL) — Each year, i4 Business magazine’s Business Leaders of the Year Awards celebrate some of Central Florida’s most admired and influential individuals across a comprehensive set of categories, including Business Leader of the Year. Past recipients of the honor include Harris Rosen of Rosen Hotels & Resorts, Charlie Gray of GrayRobinson law firm, and Jacob Stuart, formerly of the Orlando Economic Partnership.

This year i4 Business has introduced a few changes to better recognize the innovative and heroic responses of the region’s leaders in a year full of unprecedented circumstances.

“No one could have predicted all the challenges we’d face in 2020 as a community, a nation and a world,” said Diane Sears, the editor and publisher of i4 Business. “It’s refreshing to see how leaders in Central Florida are responding with creativity and imagination. They’re showing us why we love to call the Greater Orlando area home.”

Nominations are now open to the public at www.i4biz.com, with a few categories added and expanded from previous years. i4 Business is taking nominations for leadership in the Arts, Economic Development, Education/Workforce Development, Entrepreneurship, Health and Wellness, Industry, Nonprofit/Government, Professional Services, Sports and Entertainment, and Tourism.

The closing deadline has been extended to November 13 and recipients will be announced at a virtual event online on December 10, 2020. Honorees will be featured in the December issue of i4 Business.

Qualifications for each category include:
