Central Florida leaders will be honored in 7 categories at virtual event and in magazine

(Orlando, Fla.) — Each year, i4 Business magazine’s Women’s Inspired Leadership Awards event celebrates the accomplishments of women throughout Central Florida who are making a difference in the community. Held in March to commemorate Women’s History Month, the event is a highly anticipated occasion.

This year, the ceremony will be held virtually via Zoom on a date that will be announced soon. Nominations are now open and will close at 6 p.m. Eastern on Monday, January 18, 2021. The honorees will be selected by a special committee made up of community members and the i4 Business team. Each honoree will be featured in the March issue of i4 Business magazine.

“It’s always exciting to recognize women who are leading our community in different initiatives,” said Diane Sears, editor and publisher of i4 Business. “Through the years, we’ve awarded the honors to women in government, nonprofit, education, entrepreneurship and all kinds of industries. It’s an honor for us, too. There is so much good work being done here in Central Florida.”

The 2020 honorees included Dr. Deborah Crown, dean of the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College; Dana Bledsoe, consultant and former president of Nemours Children’s Hospital; Lauren Nelson, philanthropy associate for Nemours Children’s Hospital; Dr. Laine Powell, founder of Tech Sassy Girlz; Brianna Sheehan, founder and principal designer of Brianna Michelle Interior Design; A. Noni Holmes-Kidd, vice president and general counsel for Parkway Property Investments; and Sharon Hagle, founder of SpaceKids Global.
