A Central Florida native, Danielle Permenter graduated from Florida State University in 2010 and began working with the Florida Chamber of Commerce’s Corporate Outreach team in Tallahassee. It was hard to ignore the growth and opportunities Central Florida was offering and in 2013, Danielle moved back to her hometown and began working with the Central Florida Partnership, a collaborative of business and civic leaders committed to building a better tomorrow for Central Florida’s seven counties – Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Polk, Seminole and Volusia.
Danielle currently serves as the Director of Business Development for the Central Florida Partnership, the umbrella organization for four lines of business – Orlando, Inc., BusinessForce, myregion.org and Leadership Orlando. In her role, Danielle manages the Orlando, Inc., membership team and is responsible for recruiting local business and community leaders to enroll in Leadership Orlando. With more than 5,000 graduates, Leadership Orlando is Central Florida’s only community leadership program that spans our entire seven-county region and is the largest program in America, offering multiple classes each year.
Danielle also serves as the staff lead for the Central Florida Partnership’s Young Professional Advisory Council (YPAC), a group of 100+ professionals, all under the age of 32, who have been selected to represent their organization on an issue-driven advisory board. The goal of YPAC is to provide the Central Florida Partnership Board of Directors with consistent and thoughtful input from a younger generation.
“Working with YPAC is one of the things I love most about my role. Every other month we come together to have thought provoking conversations on current regional topics. The people in the room are Central Florida’s future leaders and it’s a wonderful opportunity to work and learn from each of them.”
