Cullen Mariacher, owner and president of JATO, began his business journey when he was just a teenager.
He recalls career day in high school – “I remember learning about all these interesting careers, but none of them felt like the right fit for me. Career day should have included entrepreneurship as an option!”
JATO is often viewed as a marketing or advertising firm, but its services go beyond that. The company is setting a new standard for what a marketing organization brings to the table. JATO’s in-house capabilities include engineering, manufacturing, 3D printing, web development, digital media, printing, laser work, and more.
Wanting more than just the typical list of core values posted in the lobby, you’ll find an eight foot canvas display of the “JATO Commitment” hanging in JATO’s main workspace in Casselberry, Fla. Refined over the last 10 years, the 17 principles listed reflect virtues held personally by the JATO team. “The JATO Commitment is more than a set of rules or regulations, it’s something that’s naturally in our character,” explained John Nick, lead engineer at JATO.
According to Mariacher, “the biggest internal challenge is getting the right people in the right seats – our Commitment is essential to growing the JATO team.” JATO offers a diverse collection of professional skills, products, and services – fully explaining this in the marketplace can be a challenge. So today, JATO is re-imagining what a marketing company can be.
JATO develops close partnerships with the businesses they work with. “Trust is huge. When a client sees our passion for the success of their business, the relationship thrives.” Over the last year, the company has experienced 300 percent growth. Its business model can be scaled into a multi-location or franchise model,
and the JATO team plans to achieve this kind of expansion within the next few years.
