Southeast Steel is a family-owned appliance store in Orlando offering a huge selection of competitively priced name brand appliances. This year, it is proud to be celebrating 73 years in business, having served well over 100,000 Central Floridians. “You can’t ever rest on your laurels,” said Stu Kimball, president. “Quite often, we have two and even three generations of family members coming into our shop.”

Originally from Boston, Kimball moved to Central Florida in 1978, jumping into the family business 35 years ago. His sales team has also been in the appliance business for an average of 25 years. This level of product expertise is very rare in the industry today, and it’s what sets Southeast Steel apart from the others.

Kimball continued, “We can’t ever take for granted that it’s our personalized customer service philosophy and our highly experienced sales team that keeps these families generationally loyal to us. In today’s retail environment, shoppers are armed with more knowledge and expectations than ever before. They want us to explain every different feature and benefit on each model so they can make the wisest purchasing decision. This personalized experience just can’t be found at the big box stores.” Kimball and his entire team take pride in saying, “We sell appliances, ONLY appliances.”
